DIAMOND 4100 UHS:

It stands out for its versatile application, delivering excellent final results under all conditions. Developed for partial repairs, touch-ups, or full coatings. Allows for time and cost optimization in extreme conditions (low temperatures). Provides excellent performance for both oven drying and air drying. Offers excellent vertical stability, intense gloss (mirror effect), exceptional hardening, and extraordinary durability. Easy and straightforward application, with a flash-off time between coats of 5-10 minutes. This product reduces varnish consumption by 30% and increases productivity. Allows drying in 15 minutes at 60 degrees Celsius (CRH 45-CRH43) or 20 minutes at 60 degrees Celsius (CRH41). Can be polished after 90 minutes from application. Mixing ratio of 2:1, with hardeners CRH 45 EXPRESS, CRH43 FAST, CRH41 STANDARD, CRH 40 SLOW. The innovation of this varnish allows us to optimize workflow and minimize the common problem in workshops known as bottleneck. Works with three hardeners: CRH 40 / CRH 41 / CRH 43 / CRH 45.

DIAMOND 4500 UHS EXPRESS:

2K UHS varnish specially formulated for partial repairs. Can be used on water-based or solvent-based bases interchangeably. Provides high gloss and fast drying (40 minutes from varnish application). Can be polished within 1 hour. Saves a significant amount of energy in the painting cycle. Increases productivity. Dries in a booth in cycles of 10 minutes at 60 degrees Celsius, 20 minutes at 40 degrees Celsius, and 40 minutes at 20 degrees Celsius in open air. In IR, drying would take 5 minutes. Stands out for its high hardness, scratch resistance, and UV resistance. Hardeners: CRH 45.

CROMAUTO will be present this year at the Motortec 2022 Fair in Madrid. It will take place between April 20 and 23 at the Ifema fairgrounds.

Centro Zaragoza has granted product certification to CROMAUTO's finishing paint system, made up of its CROMAQUA PRO base coat line, and two varnishes, DIAMOND 4100 UHS and DIAMOND 4500 UHS EXPRESS.

This certification is based on a series of trials and tests whose objective is to verify the good behavior and quality of these systems, reaching the level of confidence necessary for their acceptance as a certified finishing system for use in car refinishing.

To obtain Centro Zaragoza certification as a finishing system, a series of tests have been carried out on the complete painting system, both on metallic substrates and flexible plastics. These tests are based on UNE-EN ISO standards, of vehicle manufacturers, as well as those of Centro Zaragoza, to verify both their technical qualities and durability, as well as the optical properties of coverage and color adjustment.

Centro Zaragoza's certification is based, in collaboration with different accredited external laboratories, on the evaluation and technical validation of the analyzed products, achieving a satisfactory result in all the tests carried out.

From Centro Zaragoza we congratulate CROMAUTO for having achieved this certification, which demonstrates its commitment to the quality of its products.

A NEW ADDITIVE TO OPTIMIZE THE REPAIR IN CONDITIONS OF VERY LOW TEMPERATURE AND HIGH HUMIDITY.

CROMAUTO has developed AVC 612 FAST DRY ADDITIVE, a new and innovative product for application and drying processes of CROMAQUA PRO, for conditions of very low temperatures and high humidity.

The use of this new product allows the workshop professional to reduce drying times, in addition to achieving a correct hardening of the color bases in extreme environments, thus increasing productivity and profitability. It is also used to avoid the appearance of tape marks during the banding processes.

The workshop professional must use a maximum percentage of 10% of the AVC 612 additive on the final color mixture, and then proceed with the dilution and application of the product following the steps in the technical data sheet.

AVC 612 FAST DRY ADDITIVE, available within the CROMAQUA PRO series in a 500 ml container.

CROMAQUA PRO unifies everything that the workshop demands of us:

Cromauto has a range of products for car repainting that consists of putties, fillers, clearcoats, water-based basecoats line: Cromaqua Pro and solvent basecoat: Cromacryl, products for plastics, sprays, catalysts and solvents.

The current trend in products for car repainting is to reduce drying times for a decrease in the total times of work processes. For this reason, Cromauto has developed new products that are characterized by shorter drying times or the possibility of drying in air or at a lower temperature, which achieve energy savings.

With this objective, Cromauto has included in its range the new products that it presented at Centro Zaragoza, of which a theoretical presentation was made followed by a series of practical applications in the workshop.

Diamond 4100 UHS Clearcoat
Designed for high-quality finishes in two-layer finishing systems, it is a UHS acrylic clearcoat characterized by a high-gloss finish and high chemical resistance. The Diamond 4100 UHS is a versatile clearcoat thanks to its 3 catalysts: CRH 41 Medium, CRH 43 Fast and CRH 45 Extra Fast, which allow it to be adapted to the different needs of the workshop, and can be applied both for partial or touch-up painting as well as for painting complete vehicle.
Its mixing ratio is 2:1 by volume, and between 0 and 5% of diluent can be added: CRS 350 Medium, CRS 370 Slow or CRS 390 Extra slow.

Filler 232 UHS RapidThis is a medium gray UHS acrylic rig designed for quick or express repairs. It provides quick drying in partial repairs, superficial or small dents, without the need to apply heat or use IR equipment, thanks to its air drying that accelerates with the humidity of the environment, which means energy savings for the workshop.

Its mixing ratio with its specific fast CRH 32 catalyst is 2:1 by volume (3:1 by weight) and without the addition of diluent. Its mixing life is 30 minutes.

The application of the Filler 232 UHS Rapid consists of a first half coat of anchor followed by two full coats with 5 minutes of evaporation between coats, obtaining thicknesses of 70-130 microns.

The great advantage of this rig is its drying, which with just 25-40 minutes of air drying can be sanded, without the need for cabin drying at 60ºC or drying with IR equipment.

Filler Fast Serie 200
HS acrylic filler designed to achieve faster and more efficient repairs (drying at low temperatures) with reduced drying times and good sanding qualities. It is available in three shades, with the following references:
200 Fast white, 205 Fast gray and 209 Fast black.

Its mixing ratio is 4:1 by volume, with the CRH 15 Slow and CRH 20 Medium catalysts, plus 10-15% diluent. As a recommendation, when the temperature is above 30ºC, the CRH 15 Lento catalyst should be used with the CRS 390 Extra Slow diluent.

The application of the Filler Fast Series 200 rig consists of a first half coat of anchor followed by two complete coats with 5-10 minutes of evaporation between coats and 10 minutes before drying at 60ºC or 5-10 minutes before IR drying.

As for its drying, the Fast Series 200 rig dries in 20-30 minutes at 60ºC, depending on the catalyst used, and in 10-12 minutes with the IR equipment.

Other products and tools

In addition to the presentation and testing in the workshop of these three products, Cromauto presented us with its Premiumcolors color management system, which includes the spectrophotometer, the color program and the color charts, with the new Cromaqua Pro water base line that was incorporated in early 2018.

During the practical applications of the varnish and the coatings, it was possible to test the application of the Cromaqua Pro bilayer base, which stands out for its covering and finishing capacity. It was also possible to know the operation of the color program, which allows the management of the paint job, together with the information provided by the spectrophotometer for the correct selection of the color formula.

La marca de pinturas Cromauto está ubicada en Barcelona, donde también está ubicado el departamento de colorimetría. La idea de CROMAUTO es poder aportar al taller toda la gama de productos necesarios para poder realizar reparaciones de pintura de calidad.

Tres son los acabados de color que hemos presentado:

En una jornada muy intensa, donde hemos podido presentar tanto la parte de la empresa más teórica donde se han visto todas y cada una de las ventajas de nuestros productos, junto con una parte práctica en cabina donde los profesionales de CENTRO ZARAGOZA han podido palpar y observar tanto el comportamiento como el rendimiento de cada una de las líneas que hemos presentado.
En primer lugar, destacamos desde CROMAUTO la presentación al CENTRO ZARAGOZA de nuestra pintura al agua CROMAQUA, de donde se han seleccionado varios colores para poder ver todas las argumentaciones teóricas pero ahora ya puestas en común dentro de la cabina, pudiendo demostrar la buena cubrición del producto, rápido secado y fiabilidad extrema en color.

Después hemos podido ver toda la gama de MASILLAS, masilla LIGHT 110, masilla MULTI 150, masilla FIB 170 y masilla ELAST 101, en todas ellas hemos demostrado que tenemos productos que están basados en nuestro contacto con el taller para cubrir sus necesidades.
En APAREJOS, hemos visto también toda nuestra gama, desde un aparejo monocomponente FILLER 210, hasta nuestros aparejos de secado rápido de nueva generación FILLER FAST 220, 225 y 229, acabando con nuestro aparejo de húmedo sobre húmedo FILLER 250 WW.
Por último hemos aprovechado para hacer unas aplicaciones con toda nuestra gama de BARNICES, siendo los dos más sorprendentes nuestro DIAMOND 4000 UHS, por su facilidad de aplicación y brillo, y nuestro DIAMOND 5OOO XTREME, barniz de secado al aire que ha demostrado ser ÚNICO en este tipo nuevos conceptos de barniz, en nuestro caso, hemos puesto en conocimiento de CENTRO ZARAGOZA como tenemos clientes que utilizan nuestro DIAMOND XTREME 5000 para coches completos, demostrando con ellos que hablamos de una tecnología que hasta ahora no se puede ver fuera de CROMAUTO.

Con todo ello, hemos hablado mucho sobre la importancia que tiene en este sector a día de hoy ver productos como los que hemos presentado con una imagen y calidad excelente con un precio muy competitivo para el taller que cada día ve como tiene también que buscar un precio pero siempre con una calidad y una fiabilidad que sólo una marca como CROMAUTO les ofrece.

Con el acuerdo que hemos alcanzado con el centro Juan de Herrera, podemos atender las necesidades que nos solicitan nuestros distribuidores en esas zonas.

Cromauto se ha estrenado en Automechanika Frankfurt por todo lo alto para potenciar su imagen de marca en España y también darse a conocer internacionalmente.

Durante la feria ha presentado su producto estrella, los sistemas de pintura al agua Cromaqua, y el disolvente Cromacryl, exponiendo las dos máquinas que llevan este sistema para que los visitantes conozcan la disposición de las tintas.

También ha dado a conocer su programa de gestión de color Colorcrom, además de toda la gama de anexos y auxiliares de su catálogo, que incluye barnices, aparejos, masillas, disolventes y otros.

Además, coincidiendo con la feria, Cromauto ha reforzado su presencia en las redes sociales y ha mejorado su página web, ahora disponible en castellano, inglés y francés
